A True Vintage Spring

"The world's favorite season is the spring.
All things seem possible in May."
-  Edwin Way Teale

Here I am, at last writing. 'The Project' has been keeping me quite busy. January-April have proved to be the best months yet for my Etsy shop. Unfortunately end of April and May, so far, have been very slow going. Anyone who has ever attempted to extend the delicate tendrils of hope out in the world longing for success will sympathize with me. When things slow down, I have the tendency to take it quite personally, and feel horrible about it. But as everyone knows, failure is not a valid excuse for giving up, and so I go on...

I toyed with the idea of a brick and mortar shop last month. After a week of stressful pondering, I chose not to go forward with it at this time. I'm sure my decision was a good one, but I can't help but feel a little sad about putting that part of my dream aside for now. Perhaps one day in the future it will be a reality.

I invested in my first SLR camera. I bought a Cannon T3i. I'm starting to get the hang of it, but learning the basics has proved to be a lot more difficult that I expected, although terribly fun as well. I have had some very beautiful results, so I soldier on. Since its been so terribly long since my last blog entry, I will only post my favorite listings today. Some of them are of my new Model Saree, who did an amazing job at portraying a delicate contemporary vibe to my vintage pieces. I hope you like the fruits of my labor!
